Ministers and representatives from all EU governments, the European Parliament, UNIFEM and leading women's organisations from Spain and the EU will be taking part in the forum.

Programme

A EU report will be presented on the compliance of the Action Plan of the 4th Women's World Conference, held in Beijing in 1995. To mark the Spanish Presidency of the European Union, Cadiz will be the venue for the European Women's Forum Beijing+15 on 4 and 5 February. The objective of the meeting, to be chaired by the Minister for Equality, Bibiana Aído, is to analyse and assess the degree of compliance with the strategic objectives and measures established 15 years ago during the 4th Women's World Conference of the United Nations held in Beijing.
