Programme

Time: 08:30 to 18:00 The informal meeting will take place on 19 February at the Palacio de Congresos in Zaragoza, where the press centre will also be located. At the meeting the future of the European Union’s cohesion policy will be discussed, centering on four works session which will tackle the following issues: linking the cohesion policy to the Europe 2020 Strategy; reformulating the aims and priorities of the cohesion policies; economic efficiency and simplification in a context of economic crisis; and integration of territorial cohesion into the cohesion policy. During the course of the day, the Secretary of State for Finance and the European Commissioner for Regional Policy will hold a press conference.
