- The ministers of economy and finance of the 16 European countries which have adopted the euro as common currency. The meeting will be chaired by the Prime Minister of Luxembourg and Minister of Finance, Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the Euro Group.
- Programme
- The meeting will take place on the afternoon of 15 March and will address, among other issues, the timetable for the withdrawal of stimulus measures implemented in the past two years to soften the impact of the economic and financial crisis. It will also assess the measures announced by Greece for meeting the criteria of the Stability and Growth Pact. At the end of the meeting, scheduled for 21:00, Euro Group President Jean-Claude Juncker will report on the issues raised during the meeting at a press conference.
